This Add-on Brings More of Internet Explorer to the New Microsoft Edge

Microsoft itself recommends against using Internet Explorer as a daily browser, and despite the company only shipping security updates and no new features to devices where it’s installed, so many people still rely on this app to navigate the web.

This is mostly the result of certain Internet Explorer features not available in modern browsers, and web browser expert Stefan Van Damme says the menu bar is certainly one of them.

“Since the years of Microsoft Internet Explorer, everyone uses and loves to navigate with the classic menu bar. That includes the menu items File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Window, and Help. So they can get quick access to the menu for editing and printing a web page. However, that menu bar is not available anymore in the new Microsoft Edge web browser,” he explains.
