The reboot of The Twilight Zone has been cancelled. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the reimagining of the classic sci-fi anthology show will not return for Season 3.
The first two seasons of The Twilight Zone, which were executively produced and hosted by Jordan Peele, screened on ViacomCBS’s streaming platform CBS All-Access. However, the show was not included in this week’s launch of Paramount+, the company’s rebranding and expansion of CBS All-Access.
THR states that the decision to end The Twilight Zone was due to Peele and co-producer Simon Kinberg’s plans to leave the series, and that ViacomCBS wanted it to continue. However, the show will not proceed without them.
