The Season of Delays Continues with Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl

We’re just passing the middle of January and developer GSC is among the first to announce the delay of its highly anticipated game, Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl. After backing down from its plans to include a “metaverse” of NFTs withing the Stalker sequel, following fans backlash, GSC is now postponing the game.

In an official statement published on Twitter, CGS revealed that Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl will now release on December 8, 2022. Considering the game was initially set for an April 28 debut, this means fans will have to wait an additional seven months for their favorite title (hopefully).

These additional seven months of development are needed to fulfill our vision and achieve the desired state of the game.
