Sherlock Holmes Is Missing In Netflix’s Teen Detective Series The Irregulars

Netflix has released the next trailer for The Irregulars, a new series that “follows a gang of troubled street teens who are manipulated into solving crimes” for Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes. The eight-part drama is slated to hit the streaming service on March 26.

This new clip digs a little deeper but still plays coy with how these children are “manipulated” into working with Holmes and Watson–the latter of whom the official synopsis describes only as “sinister.” While it may not be Holmes doing the manipulating here, what’s clearer in this new trailer is the enigmatic detective’s assistant is desperate and truly needs the kids’ help because, suddenly, Holmes is missing. The Irregulars is based on the Baker Street Irregulars gang from the original books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. They supplement the famous detective duo’s efforts by investigating “crimes [that] take on a horrifying supernatural edge.”
