According to Counterpoint Research, Samsung’s market share increased 9 percent year over year, and when you put this on paper, you get the highest market share of the South Korean phone maker in no less than 5 years.
That’s right, Samsung has returned to a level that it last reached back in 2017, also thanks to an impressive performance in India, where it re-became the number one brand for the first time since August 2020.

In case you’re wondering, Samsung now has 24 percent global market share, according to Counterpoint, while rival Apple is well behind with 15 percent. Xiaomi is third with 12 percent.
