As everybody knows already, S Pen was a signature feature for Galaxy Note, so Samsung bringing the same capability to the Galaxy S lineup is something truly big.
There’s one good reason why the whole thing happened, however: Samsung wants to kill off the Galaxy Note, it seems, and to do this, the company first wants to make sure all features are already available elsewhere. And given the S Pen support is what set the Note apart from the rest of the crowd, it was critical for Samsung to make it available on another model.
