The next film installment in the Resident Evil franchise, titled Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, has had its release date pushed back to November 24, 2021.
The new release date is a two-month delay, as the movie was originally going to hit theaters on September 3. The new November 24 release means the film will hit theaters the day before Thanksgiving in the United States.
GameSpot has reached out to Sony for further information about the delay. We’ll report back with any additional details we receive.
