However, it looks like Microsoft is working not only on improving the experience with the fully featured version of Outlook for Android but also on a new sibling that would be specifically aimed at budget devices.
In other words, Microsoft wants Outlook to be lighter on system resources, and this is why it’s working on a so-called Outlook Lite that would obviously include fewer features but which would still come with the essential package.
So basically, what Microsoft is currently working on is a special version of Outlook that would feel at home on low-end Android devices, essentially running like a charm even with lower resources.
