Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB4526447 to Fix Shutdown Bug

Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for Windows 10 20H1 to fix a shutdown and reboot bug that the company discovered in the latest preview builds shipped to insiders.

Cumulative update KB4526447 increases the OS build number to 19002.1002 and can be downloaded right now in the Fast ring.

The shutdown and restart glitch was discovered in the latest two preview builds, and Microsoft has already acknowledged the bug last week. A temporary workaround involved initiating the shutdown and reboot tasks from the Command Prompt with special instructions to bypass the bug.
