Microsoft Fixes Slow File Copying on Windows 10

The most recent Windows 10 preview build released by Microsoft the RP ring includes a fix for the slow file copying bug that some users have recently come across.

If you didn’t experience this problem, well, you’re lucky. If you did, you probably know precisely how awful it’s been, especially when trying to copy larger files.

Fortunately, Microsoft says in the release notes of Windows 10 build 19044.1739, currently offered to users in the Release Preview ring, that this problem has been resolved. The same fix is very likely to be included in the next cumulative update for production devices to go live on Windows 10 in June.

More improvements in this build

In addition, Microsoft says it has also addressed fixes related to OneDrive, Microsoft Office apps, and Windows systems that never shut down.
