Tagging other company employees in a spreadsheet is something that comes in super-handy, especially now when so many people are working remotely.
And as recently spotted by TechRadar, Microsoft is now working on bringing mentions to Microsoft Excel in a future update. The feature is already in the works, but according to the company itself, it should reach the broad availability phase at some point in October.
In the meantime, however, the company has refused to provide any other details, so the only thing we know is that the new feature will allows users to “create, assign, and track tasks within your workbook.”
