Microsoft Edge Browser Will Soon Get a Games Panel

Microsoft Edge is a browser that’s getting more and more features, and one of the latest ideas that Microsoft appears to be experimenting with is specifically related to games.

More specifically, the Redmond-based software giant is working on adding a new games panel in the browser, therefore allowing users to access some pre-loaded games with just a click.

The new button, which will be added right in the toolbar in the main UI when users enable it, will provide one-click access to some games like Solitaire, Microsoft Jewel, Chess, and others, all of them hosted on MSN Games.

In other words, they’re online games, so the games panel is more of a way to provide users with simple shortcuts to launch them in the browser.

Currently in the Canary build

At this point, this new idea is still in its very early days, so it’s only available for a limited number of users in the Canary testing channel of Microsoft Edge.
