Netflix has announced that the second half of Lucifer Season 5 will finally be premiering on May 28. The long-awaited date was revealed on Twitter, and the announcement also came with news reported by that production on the show’s sixth and final season is coming to a close as of this writing.

According to a release , it was announced that the upcoming season all the way through will see “secrets… revealed, beloved characters [dying], and we’ll finally get an answer to the question ‘will they or won’t they?'” Tom Ellis, who plays titular character Lucifer Morningstar, recently told EW that these still upcoming episodes “takes [the character] back to a very primal place, and his feelings are very raw… I’m just so happy and so proud of what we’ve done. The first two episodes of the second half of Season 5 are my two favorite episodes of the season, without a doubt.” So, that’s definitely going to be something to look forward to.
