Google Chrome 91 Will Make It Easier to Attach Files to Emails

Google Chrome remains the world’s number one browser, and Google is working non-stop on adding new functionality, so it goes without saying the next big release will also include some welcome improvements.

Google Chrome 91, which is currently available as a beta, will introduce a new clipboard update, essentially making it easier for users to attach files to an email.

Called read-only files support for the clipboard, this feature will essentially allow apps to read files from the clipboard, without providing writing permissions.

What this means is that users can now just press Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste files on the desktop in Chrome, which makes it easier to perform certain tasks that would otherwise require the typical drag and drop operation.
