Get Nikon’s 1.10 Firmware Update for Z6 II and Z7 II Mirrorless Cameras

Today, Nikon rolled out a new firmware package targeted at its latest Z6 II and Z7 II digital cameras, namely versions 1.10, which improves eye-detection performance in both Auto-area AF (people) and Wide-area AF (L-people) modes.

In addition to that, these updates also include RAW video output support using Blackmagic Design external video recorders (however, 4K UHD 60p/50p output isn’t possible), and allows Apple Final Cut Pro X users to display/adjust ISO sensitivity and color temperature for ProRes RAW footage through ATOMOS NINJA V recorders.

Moreover, the cameras won’t have problems downloading location data via SnapBridge when used with an MB-N11 power battery pack, which the Z6 II alone receive 3840×2160@60p and 3840×2160@50p options in the MOVIE SHOOTING MENU.
