Fitbit App Now Lets Users Log Blood Glucose Levels

Google-owned Fitbit has announced a new feature for its mobile companion app which allows users to log their blood glucose levels.

Rolling out this month to users in the United States, the new feature makes it possible for everybody to manually input blood glucose information in the Fitbit app and then keep an eye on the trends on their mobile device.

In addition, Fitbit has also included a series of extras, such as ranges to keep the blood glucose level between certain limits and be warned when a threshold is exceeded.

Manual input in the app

“Blood glucose tracking helps to manage your blood glucose levels by logging or importing your levels and seeing your trends all in one place.  Set personalized ranges so you can see when you are outside your target range to better identify important changes and get friendly reminders to log so you can look at trends over time with easy-to-read graphs,” Fitbit read more)
