Facebook Tries a New Way to Convince iPhone Users to Let It Track Them

Apple requires developers to show a new popup in their iOS apps in order to let users what data is collect and how they’re being tracked, and social network Facebook was one of the first companies to criticize this approach.

And while Facebook says this approach hurts small businesses, it has no other option than to comply with the result, and this is exactly what the social network does with its iOS app.

But in addition to the privacy prompt that Apple specifically requested, Facebook will also show a popup of its own and which the company hopes would convince users to get their permission for tracking.
