Audible Killing Off Its Microsoft Store App

Audible has recently decided to discontinue its modern Windows app, with the company telling users to switch to the mobile versions of the client or stick with the website.

Audible for Windows 10 is no longer available since January 13, according to a reddit user, though the application will continue to work on devices where it’s already installed until July 31.

Of course, it makes little sense to stick with a retired app, so users can already prepare for the change by just turning to the alternatives mentioned above. Obviously, if you plan on using Audible on your desktop, the best way to go is the official website and the desktop cloud player, as the mobile versions don’t make much sense this time.

Audible has started reaching out to users out there in an attempt to inform them about the change.

The app will stop working in July

“We discontinued this app on January 13, 2022, and it is no longer available in the Windows App Store,” Audible read more)
