When it comes to tablets alone, Apple is by far the undisputed leader in this side of the market. The Cupertino-based tech giant sold no more, no less than 14.8 million iPads in the first quarter of 2022, therefore securing a market share of 38.6 percent.
Samsung is obviously the runner-up, but it’s very far behind rival Apple. The South Korean company sold only 7.8 million tablets during the same quarter, thus reaching a market share of 20.4 percent. Amazon is third in the charts with just 3.5 million tablets.
